In 2013 we introduced a new product, Koongo as Service (or Service). In the In the beginning, the Service was available only for the Lightspeed users. Over time, we added other platforms - Prestashop, CCV Shop, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc. (see the list of all supported shopping platforms).
Finally, in 2015 the Service became available also for Magento users. It allows Magento users to choose between the Connector and the Service, depending on their specific needs.

Connector for Magento 1 & 2 is the stand-alone extension for Magento, in Magento terminology called a module. You can install the Connector on your Magento instance using the Magento Connect Manager. You manage all the feeds and channels from within your Magento backend.

Koongo as a Service is Koongo developed tool with our own user interface (UI). To activate the Koongo Service, you need to install an app (for Lightspeed, CCV Shop, or Shopify) or set up API integration (for Magento or Prestashop).
